My name is Gabriela Sofia. For much of my life, I was known as Gabby—a name that belonged to a younger version of me, the girl who sought safety through pleasing others and losing herself in their expectations. As I walked through the fires of grief and awakening, I felt called to reclaim my full name—Gabriela Sofia—a name that now carries strength, wisdom, and sovereignty. It symbolizes my rebirth into a woman who lives life on her own terms, grounded in truth, compassion, and purpose.

My journey of healing began after the sudden passing of my eldest son—a moment that shattered every belief I once held and pulled me into a dark night of the soul. Having endured childhood abuse, domestic violence, and deep loss, I found myself stripped of all I thought I was. In that darkness, I discovered the light of remembrance—of who I truly am beneath the pain.

Through the support of kind souls and the guidance of sacred plant medicines, my healing unfolded layer by layer. Psychedelic-assisted therapy with MDMA opened my heart to release shame and trauma held deep within my body, and my first ayahuasca ceremony became a profound remembrance of spirit. What began as a personal journey evolved into a sacred calling—to help others walk home to themselves.

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare and 4 years in hospice, I have witnessed the tender space between life and death. From a Kabbalistic perspective, I’ve learned that death does not end our connection with our loved ones—it transforms it. My work in hospice opened my awareness to the continuity of the soul, the wisdom of nature, and the language of synchronicities that link the seen and unseen worlds.
